First, I decided to watch this because I super love vampire stories and I am a big fan of detective stories as well. Now, they titled this series Vampire Detective, why wouldn't I watch it, right? PLUS, Lee Joon is one of my favorite idol-actor in his generation.

BUT

The plot just ruined it all for me. Sure, I loved it every time they are solving a case but let's be honest, some of the cases here have no sense at all, not to mention those cringey fighting scenes that seem unnecessary, sometimes. Of course, Joon is a very good actor, but his acting skills were like wasted here. Not only Joon but the other actors as well. They are all very good actors considering I finished the series even though I am not satisfied with the plot.

Also, the leading lady. Who was that again? I don't even know now who the leading lady is, if there is any. They built up Gyeo Wool's character and we all loved her but the ending made her seem like a nobody. Yo Na's appearance kind of saved the series for me since her character and story was one of the best things in this series. I wouldn't mind having a love triangle with those three but since I'm not so into romance, it's fine. I loved it that Gyeo Wool is more like younger sister/teammate/friend to San and their scenes are what I crave for the most. Then, the girlfriend. We honestly did not know her even if they gave us a backstory. Yet, they made her seem like the main of the story and I want to know WHY.

They shouldn't have titled this series as such because they didn't even emphasize San's vampire abilities and they never told us the history behind that evil blood injected in him. That's the sole reason I held on until the end of the series but I never found out why, which is really very unsatisfactory.

SPOILERS | DONT READ IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED IT*

It’s been a good year and this drama still lingers at the back of my head. The ending left me devatsted, i wondered for so many hours and thought countless theories of what could possibly be an ending to understand, but i’m still left scarred. This drama is amazing, like i can’t explain how good it is. I love it so much. And this is where my brain can’t move on from.

The beginning of episode one (intro) showed Yoon San as a Vampire with eyes and fighting off enemies right off the bat with supernatural skills. From that we wouldv’e been able to understand something was going to happen to him, and now i’m gonna skip to the ending where he straight out disppears into oblivion. Okay bare with me now, there are some scenes left unexplained but nothing exceeds more than when we’re left to see such a beginning and ending differ by miles. This leaves me to think that maybe the beginning of the first episode is like the ending of the season. Like in the end where he disappears is the intro of the beginning since his a vampire.

rif When everyone keep hoping for San-Gyeo Wool but i'm here shipping that ahjussi Goo Hyung-Gyeo Wool hahaha i mean they're really scene stealers, they're the one that keep me watching this drama. And wow i really love how deep the love between San and Yoo Jin is.

sad a+ (i first watched this for my mblaq feels) but now i seriously want a second season because of the stupid cliffhanger! i remember reading an article about a second season being released in 2018, but i can't find the article anymore... despite the viewer response being bad in korea, i hope they at least finish the story because there's so many things the director left hanging. it would be a shame to just leave the story at that (especially because cliffhangers are the worst types of endings).

Trexie Ann I am currently watching this drama and I can say its very unique. I love Han Gyeo-Wool role, its very rock. I hope that there's a love story between Yoon San and Han Gyeo-Wool. :) love this drama.

"K.O.R.I.A" It's an ok drama, but it just can't compare to Vampire Prosecutor... Besides, it got confusing because of the to complitely diffrent vampire types (traditional like in this drama and the other type like Min Tae Yeon). Hope they can sort out all the lose threads in another season. Besides, I'm hoping to get to know the real identity of Bad Blood.

sara There should be another season of this drama. I like the concept, but the ending.. a total CLIFFHANGER... ( I totally ship Han Gyeo Wool and Yoon San <3 )

Slide The cast of this drama are interesting, the show started off good and then became a generic story afterwards there are a lot of question marks at the end though, like what happened to the story of Han Gyeo-Wool, and 1 episode that confused me (the Zen of Sword episode), anyway the story is not bad but at the same time not good too, but is an interesting show to watch.

Haru. I'm currently watching this drama. Its amazing. Love Lee Joon acting since I watched Gap Dong!! Hoping for Vampire Detective Season 2!!!
