Hawrelluk, Michael - In loving memory of Michael "Mike" Hawrelluk, 84 years. Born in 1931 and passed away peacefully at Tillsonburg Hospital July 7th 2016 with his loving wife by his side. Beloved husband of 64 years to Rita (nee Menard). Loving father of Michael (Julie), Gary, Karen (Paul), Douglas (Kathleen) and Bob (Angela). Cherished grandfather "Papa" & "Grumpa" of Matthew, Nicholas (predeceased 2001) & Robin, Samantha & Kendra (mother Michelle Royer), Meghann & Cody (father Darrell MacKinnon) Paul Jr. & Eric, Jesse (Natalie), Joel (Cassy) & Jennifer and Aarik. Great-grandfather of Mackena, Mya & Cameron. Beloved son of John and Emma Hawrelluk. (both predeceased) Dear brother of Annie (George Saradoc), Katie (Verl Reid, predeceased), John (Helen Hawrelluk both predeceased), Helen (Ralph Meade, both pre deceased), Andy (Toni Hawrelluk, both predeceased). Special brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Born in Capreol Ontario, Mike worked as a conductor for CN Rail from 1948 until 1985 at which time he retired at Kukagami Lake and spent many happy winters in Florida. In Mike'srequest no services will be held.

Rev. Gerald Augustin Lalonde C.S.B.
Peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 as a result of lung cancer. Fr. Gerry was born in Sudbury on August 28, 1937. He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Mary and his brothers Ivan, Vincent, Denzil, Kenneth and Fr. Patrick CSB, and his sister Mary. He is survived by his sister Margaret and by many nieces and nephews. In 1956 he entered the Basilian Novitiate. He was professed in 1957, educated at the U of St. Michaels College and St. Basil's Seminary in Toronto, Séminaire de Saint-Sulpice in Paris and ordained December 17, 1966. Fr. Gerry taught at Assumption College School (Windsor), St. Charles College (Sudbury) and St. Mary's College (Sault Ste. Marie). He served at Holy Rosary Church (Toronto), Canadian Martyrs Church (Calgary) and Our Lady of Peace Church (Capreol). After a number of years living at the Basilian Fathers' Residence, Orsini House, Fr. Gerry moved back to Capreol last summer, a place he loved dearly.
There will be a Wake Service in the Chapel of the Cardinal Flahiff Basilian Centre, 95 St. Joseph Street, Toronto on Thursday, June 16 at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Mass for Fr. Gerald Lalonde will be in the chapel on Friday, June 17 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at the Basilian plot in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery beside his brother, Fr. Pat.

Lee, Geraldine 'Gerry' - Forever Loved, Forever in our Hearts Geraldine “Gerry” Lee January 7, 1925 – June 3, 2016 Our Mom was a loving and compassionate woman. The twinkle in her eye and the beauty of her soul made those who knew her, love her. Her family and friends will miss her sharp wit, sense of humor and unconditional love. Devoted daughter of Adam and Alice Sweezey (both predeceased). Loving wife of Joseph “Mickey” Lee (predeceased). Cherished mother of Dixie Mckenny (Ralph), Michael Lee (Sharon) and Sherry Lee (fiance David “Mark” Shane). Treasured Grandmother of M.J. (Sara), Jason (Amy), Tara (Rob), Michael (Courtney), Meghan (Jamie) and Patrick. Great “Gramma Gerry” to Dylan, Gracie, Dee Jay, Trevor, Tyler and Kayla. Much loved sister of Gilmour Sweezey (Grace), Vernon Nepitt (Alex Sr.), Norma Auger (Harvey Sr.) (all predeceased), Doris McLeish (Alex predeceased), Donald Sweezey (Katherine predeceased) and Ronald Sweezey (predeceased) (Joyce). Dear sister-in-law of Jack Lee (Rita) (both predeceased), Colleen Dimmel (Charles) (both predeceased) and David Lee (predeceased) (Ann). Gerry will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and especially by her loving niece and caregiver Charlotte and special niece Barbara. She will be fondly remembered by special friends Angel, Allan and Yvonne, and by her paramedic friends Claude and Chris. At Gerry’s request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held in honor of Gerry’s life on Friday June 10th, 2016 at 1 p.m. at St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church, 36 Dennis St., Capreol, ON, with interment at the Capreol Cemetery to follow. Gerry was a devoted parishioner who loved her church dearly. Donations to St. Albans Church in lieu of flowers would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Rangers Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. Online condolences can be posted to “Mom, we know that the club is together again. Just like old times, we can hear the laughter and we know that you’re enjoying a game of rummoli with Auntie Colleen, Joan, Reta, Elsie, Muriel and Norma”. “We love you Mom”

CONSTANTIN, Raymond - Raymond, a man who was loved by all who met him, passed away peacefully with family by his side, at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the age of 85. Raymond (our dear Papa) courageously fought his battle with cancer, never losing hope, with true dignity and steadfast faith. Loving husband of Caroline (nee Degagné) for 64 years. Cherished father of Suzanne Colasimone (Ray), Michelle Constantin (Albert Rutledge), and Robert Constantin (Laurie). Proud grandfather of Nicole (Andrew), Carly, Jason, Angela (Jason), Robin (Robyn), and Julie, and great-grandfather of Sophia, Shea, and Casey. Dear brother of Dr. Laurent Constantin, Gerald Constantin (Patricia), Gilbert Constantin (Claudette), and Gisele Barrow (Ken). Raymond will also be missed by extended family, numerous friends, the Knights of Columbus and members of St. Phillipe Roman Catholic Church, and members of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. Raymond was employed by The CNR from 1951 to 1986, which took him from North Bay to Hornepayne and then to Capreol, where he raised his family and went on to retire. He relocated to Burlington and has resided here for his last 29 years. Raymond was a great musician capable of playing many instruments, entertaining all those who had the pleasure of hearing him, especially with his fiddle. One of Papa's GREATEST joys was being the chef and main entertainer at Camp Grumpy, Anstice, Ontario with all of his buddies. A special thank you to Dr. Ben Carruthers and Dr. Joe Korkis, nurses Karen and Carrie from St. Elizabeth's, and the staff of The Carpenter Hospice for the excellent care that Raymond received. Private Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME , 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church (196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington), on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 12:30pm. Private Family Interment to follow. Reception to be held at the Burlington Golf and Country Club (422 North Shore Blvd E, Burlington) following the Memorial Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond's memory to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
